AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting:
We are pleased to offer the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting qualification. This qualification is ideal for those of you looking to start a career in accountancy. You may be working in a finance role already, or looking to change career. This qualification is open to all and there are no pre-requisites for studying this course.
This qualification will help you develop your practical accountancy skills in the double-entry bookkeeping system and introduce you to some basic costing skills. It also looks at different types of communication and business skills.
This qualification could lead to the following job roles: Accounts administrator; accounts assistant; accounts payable clerk; purchase/sales ledger clerk; trainee accounting technician; trainee finance assistant.
The course is comprised of five mandatory modules:
- Bookkeeping Transactions
- Bookkeeping Controls
- Elements of Costing
- Using Accounting Software
- Work Effectively in Finance
It will also offer a progression route to further AAT bookkeeping and accounting qualificationCost includes exam fees and registration fees. Course books, revision books and membership are the responsibility of the learner, ETS do offer discount on course books and Revision books.
