Armed Forces Covenant
What is the Armed Forces Covenant?
To those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment, the Armed Forces Covenant is the nation’s commitment to you.
It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
ETS signed the Armed Forces Covenant to pledge our support to those who serve or served, to their families, and the wider community across the West Country.
We are an Armed Forces friendly employer and pledge to support those with training opportunities, employment and advice and guidance.

I have to say having had apprentices with other Training Providers in the past that ETS stand out as being the most professional with particularly high standards in delivering their qualifications.
“ETS have been brilliant and have offered me a range of courses to suit the career I am in. Doing these courses have helped me develop personally and professionally. I am using the knowledge that I have gained through doing these courses everyday in my work with customers and other professionals. ETS are flexible and can work to help you. If you need any advice or support between visits you can contact them through email which I found extremely helpful. My experience of ETS has been positive, whenever I see my assessor she is happy and raring to go. I have never met such a supportive assessor. I have nearly completed my third course with ETS and can’t wait to begin the fourth!”
”I have enjoyed learning about my role within the CMCU department, I have enjoyed achieving my functional skills level 2 in math’s and a distinction in my apprenticeship, I have enjoyed the whole process from start to finish which has enabled me to become more aware of my knowledge and skills surrounding 999 call handling. Thank you to everyone involved along my journey so far, I have taken away from this apprenticeship that you are never too old to achieve your dreams and goals”
“The tutor was fantastic. She worked with such a diverse group with different learning capabilities and managed it very well. She was very supportive of me when I was unable to take the exam when everyone else did and followed it up to ensure I finished the course, and offered additional support to refresh my mind. Thank you!”
“ETS arranged everything for me and even gave me coaching before my interview which was brilliant. I started employment on a one year contract, but that has now become a permanent one – what more can I say?”
“They always provide the understanding of what we require. I’ve tried other trainers, but they are not so flexible and supportive. I’ve recommended them to a number of other organisations.”
