Given the latest developments, and the UK Governments advice and guidance, regarding the rapid spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we thought you would appreciate an update on our state of readiness and contingency plans.
We are closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation and following the specific advice given by the Government, Chief Medical Officers, Public Health England and the Department for Education. Whilst our offices currently remain open, we are actively pursuing contingency models.
We are continuing to provide pre-arranged face to face training in small groups. We are in the process of developing resources to enable our Training Facilitators to provide the delivery of workshops, tutorials and meetings via a virtual platform. We hope that this will minimise the disruption to our apprentices’ training. Employers should continue to allow their apprentices to undertake their 20% off the job training and time to work towards their programme. We will continue to communicate through and set tasks on the learners OneFile accounts.
We are in the process of introducing remote working for our own staff wherever job roles permit, that will help minimise any risk, whilst attempting to ensure business continuity, during what is an unprecedented period.
As you can understand our plans will be subject to change as we continue to seek and follow advice issued by the Government and Public Health England. We will keep you updated with these plans.
If you have any questions, please contact us by phone or email as usual.
