|Who is it for? Intermediate apprentices may work in roles such as administrators, office juniors, receptionists/medical receptionists, junior legal secretaries or junior medical secretaries.
The Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration—medical administration is an excellent way to gain new skills and attain an industry recognised qualification, proving competence within your job role. The programme consists of four components which all need to be completed in order to achieve the Apprenticeship framework. These are:
- Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration—Medical Administration
- Functional Skills in English, Mathematics and ICT
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
The Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration is vocationally based and will be assessed in the workplace. This includes both knowledge and competence units. Functional Skills are not just about knowledge in English, Mathematics and ICT, they are also about knowing when and how to use the knowledge in real life situations.
