|Who is it for? Intermediate apprentices may work in roles such as administrators, office juniors, receptionists/medical receptionists, junior legal secretaries or junior medical secretaries.
This qualification is ideal for someone who has specific responsibility for using IT in the workplace. The programme consists of four components which need to be completed in order to achieve the Apprenticeship Framework. These are:
- Level 2 Diploma in IT User Skills (ITQ)
- Functional Skills in English, Mathematics and ICT
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
- Personal Learning & Thinking Skills
The NVQ Diploma is vocationally based and will be assessed in the workplace. Functional Skills are not just about knowledge in English, Mathematics and ICT, they are also about knowing when and how to use the knowledge in real life situations.
