The Care Certificate is the start of a career in care and is only one element of the training and education that will make individuals ready to practice within their specific sector.
The Care Certificate is an identified set of standards that health and social care workers adhere to in their daily working life. Designed with the non-regulated workforce in mind, the Care Certificate gives everyone the confidence that workers have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.
Throughout the duration of the course the learner will be required to attend three knowledge related study sessions; be assigned a Training Facilitator who will carry out observational visits in the workplace and will complete a standard workbook. The study sessions will be delivered at ETS House over 3 separate days.
The Care Certificate is based on 15 standards, all of which individuals need to complete in full before they can be awarded their certificate.
There is full funding available subject to eligibility.
ETS is committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and the welfare of all learners and expects all staff, visitors, employers and other learners to share this commitment.
