What is the Armed Forces Covenant?
To those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment, the Armed Forces Covenant is the nation’s commitment to you.
It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
ETS signed the Armed Forces Covenant to pledge our support to those who serve or served, to their families, and the wider community across the West Country.
We are an Armed Forces friendly employer and pledge to support those with training opportunities, employment and advice and guidance.

Some super feedback from Devon & Cornwall Police regarding ‘Attitude the Game Changer’ delivered by Daz Davey (CURRERE Performance Coaching), in partnership with Education and Training Skills.
Good afternoon Daz,
Just e-mailing to say thank you for the session you provided yesterday. It was really inspiring and a massive eye-opener and it made me realise a whole lot. All day I have been explaining to my supervisors about my experience so thank you for putting on a really interesting and interactive session. I have been going through the handout with my supervisors and my contact centre manager and they too are really impressed.
“ETS have been brilliant and have offered me a range of courses to suit the career I am in. Doing these courses have helped me develop personally and professionally. I am using the knowledge that I have gained through doing these courses everyday in my work with customers and other professionals. ETS are flexible and can work to help you. If you need any advice or support between visits you can contact them through email which I found extremely helpful. My experience of ETS has been positive, whenever I see my assessor she is happy and raring to go. I have never met such a supportive assessor. I have nearly completed my third course with ETS and can’t wait to begin the fourth!”
“ETS arranged everything for me and even gave me coaching before my interview which was brilliant. I started employment on a one year contract, but that has now become a permanent one – what more can I say?”
“They always provide the understanding of what we require. I’ve tried other trainers, but they are not so flexible and supportive. I’ve recommended them to a number of other organisations.”
